County Council Obligations
The county council has the following obligations:
• Inspection of private and public lands ensuring so far as practicable, that occupiers of private and public lands carry out their legal obligations to control noxious weeds
• Develop, implement, coordinate and review noxious weed control policies and district noxious weed control plan
• Inspect lands under council control
• Control noxious weeds on council land including some roads
