Parkinsonia

Parkinsonia is a branched spreading shrub. It usually grows between 8 and 10 metres high. Young plants usually have singleĀ  pale to dark green thorny stems which get darker as they get older. It has distinctive pale green leaves that have short spine tipped stalks. It has a predominantly yellow flower. The plant threatens the rangelands and wetlands. If left untreated it replaces native vegetation and reduces access to land and waterways
